Please note the following information regarding company identification, dress code and performance reviews for the Fosstivus holiday party.

• Company ID: We aren’t going to issue you photo identification for Fosstivus, but we will have an artist who will draw your caricature on a holiday ornament. If you like it, you can keep it and hang it on the tree. If you don’t like it, you can give it as a holiday gift to your least favorite friend or relative.

• Dress Code: You can come dressed in business casual or wear a power tie to Fosstivus if you want, but the only way to win the ugly sweater contest is to, well, wear an ugly sweater. And while it’s not mandatory, if you do wear an ugly sweater, you’ll have a chance to win a $100 gift card to Nordstrom, which you can use to buy an ugly sweater for next year (or something that’s not ugly, which you might wear more often).

• Performance Reviews: Performance reviews are an unavoidable part of office life. For Fosstivus we’ll have a quiz testing your real estate knowledge, and the person who gets the most questions right will win a house. Yes, a house! It’s a small house and made out of gingerbread, but a house nonetheless.

  Even if you can’t join us at the office, please don’t worry. Just send us a photo of you in your ugly sweater, and you’ll have a chance to win that $100 Nordstrom’s gift card, just as if you had been here in person! Just e-mail it to me at jason@realresidential.com.
